Mission Statement

Through the Administration of the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code, to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the public.

The Building Department is here to assist the public, contractors and design professionals by providing quality service that is knowledgeable, efficient and comprehensive. The department effectively promotes and provides professional plan review, permitting and inspections of proposed and ongoing construction projects in the community.  This department is entrusted with the responsibility to promote code awareness and expertise, assuring building safety and code compliance for the residents.

Current Construction Code Requirements

All New Construction Applications must be filed under the most current Construction Codes adopted by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (NJ DCA).  For more information, view NJ DCA Code and Regulations.
