A sewer collapse was reported on Friday, January 25, 2019 on Pinckney Road in front of Warwick Gardens Apartments between 35 and 47 Pinckney Road.  

Residents and some commercial establishments immediately west of the break are without a functioning sewer (including FoodTown, the Altlantic Club and Les Gertrude Apartments).  The Department of Public Utilities is on scene and is working with a contractor to make necessary repairs as quickly as possible.  A bypass system may be installed prior to a permanent solution, but customers in the vicinity are being asked to reduce their flow into the sanitary sewer system (showers, sinks, toilets, laundry, etc.)  There is no estimated time for complete restoration.  More updates will be provided on the municipal website (www.redbanknj.org) as soon as they are available.
