Due to necessary maintenance operations on water valves scheduled for July 16, 2019, water service may be affected temporarily for customers in the area between West Westside Avenue and Newman Springs Road.  This includes service on Leighton Avenue (between West Westside Avenue and Newman Springs Road), West Westside Avenue, Newman Springs Road (west of Leighton Avenue), Chapin Avenue, Munson Place, Knight Street, Carmen Place, and Clifford Place.

Operations are scheduled to occur between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and service disruptions may include complete stoppage and/or pressure reductions.  During this window, service may resume and be disrupted several times.  Customers may experience discolored water as a result. Anyone seeing discolored water should run cold water from a tub or hose for a few minutes until clear to allow new water to work its way into the pipes.
