The State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and Garden State Preservation Trust announced the approval of Red Bank's application for two (2) Green Acres grants totaling $162,625.  The award recognizes Red Bank's stewardship efforts to improve and expand conservation and recreation opportunities.  The Bellhaven Nature Preserve will receive $105,843 and Riverside Gardens Park will receive $56,782.

Since 2018, the Borough of Red Bank has applied for many grants in an effort to generate additional revenue for municipal improvements without increasing taxes.  With this latest announcement, the total value of grants awarded is approximately $1.56 million.
