On May 13, 2020, Governor Murphy signed Executive Order #142 permitting resumption of non-essential construction, curbside pickup at non-essential retail businesses, and gatherings in cars effective Monday, May 18, 2020. In an effort to assist with the implementation of the guidelines in this Executive Order, the Borough of Red Bank has designated curbside pickup zones in on-street parking stalls to facilitate safe and quick transaction of business. Zones will be delineated with cones and signs. The zones will be numbered so customers can provide that information to the business by telephone or text message.
Thirty-six (36) zones are designated on the following streets: Bridge Avenue, Broad Street, Drs James Parker Boulevard, Edmund Wilson Boulevard, English Plaza, Front Street, Mechanic Street, Monmouth Street, Shrewsbury Avenue, Wallace Street, West Front Street, West Street, and Wharf Avenue.
Businesses are encouraged to promote the use of curbside pickup zones in their vicinity and advise patrons that the use of these zones is limited to 5 minutes. Patrons should re-circulate if the wait is longer to allow others to utilize these spaces.
A map has been created listing the Zone numbers by street. The map can viewed below or by visiting https://bit.ly/RBcurbpark (A listing of all the zones by street can be viewed by expanding the menu on the left of the map. Zones are depicted as purple rectangles when you zoom in to streets.)
