[ARCHIVED] Borough Invites Public to Provide Input on Garbage & Recycling Collection

Dear Red Bank Resident:

Do you receive curbside garbage and recycling collection? If so, you are invited to take a brief survey on behalf of your household.  Garbage and recycling collection is a service provided by a private company under contract by the Borough.  The contract is awarded based on bids in response to a Request for Proposals.  The goal is to keep costs at a minimum in order to save tax payers money while ensuring satisfactory service levels.  We are currently entering our fifth year of a contract for collection services valued at approximately $2.5 million in total and we are soliciting competitive bids for a new contract to start September 2020.  In order to make an informed decision for the upcoming contract, the Mayor & Council want your input and opinions.

Only one submission per household will be counted.  (This survey is for curbside collection - if you receive collection through a dumpster/container, then your response is not necessary.) Thank you for your cooperation and timely response. This survey will end on August 4, 2020.
