New Jersey voters now have an additional option for casting their ballot in the 2021 General Election. They can vote in-person at their assigned polling place on Election Day, request a Vote-by-Mail ballot or vote in-person on a machine prior to Election Day at select locations throughout the County.
In Person on Election Day: The 2021 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 2. Traditional voting at assigned poll locations has not changed. Voters can cast their vote between 6am and 8pm at their assigned location as they have done in years past. Poll locations
Vote by Mail: Voters can request a Vote by Mail ballot and one will be sent to them. The last day to request a ballot is October 26. Those who have previously requested Vote by Mail ballots, should have already received one. This ballot can be returned via US Mail or left in any ballot drop box in the County. Please note, due to the pandemic in 2020, ALL registered voters received Vote by Mail ballots last year as there was no in person voting. If a voter has not previously REQUESTED one, one will not be automatically sent. Vote by Mail application.
Early In-Person Voting: There will be ten locations throughout the County where any Monmouth County registered voter can vote in person on a voting machine: Poll Locations. The special machines will be able to access the ballot for any of the municipalities in the County. While there is not a location within the Borough of Red Bank, there are locations in two of our adjoining municipalities. Early in-person voting will take place from Sunday, October 23 through Sunday, October 31. The hours will be Monday through Saturday, 10am to 8pm, Sundays, 10am to 6pm.
For more information on any of the above, please call the Red Bank Municipal Clerk’s Office at 732-530-2740.
