Parking

The Red Bank Parking Utility is located at 42 West Front Street. 

Office hours:

  • Monday through Friday  9:00am to 5:00pm, 
  • Saturday hours are available by appointment only.

The Borough of Red Bank offers convenient on-street parking and surface lots throughout the town. Time limits and hours of enforcement for parking are posted on signs in every metered area, as well as on each parking meter.  The purpose of time limits is to ensure that parking spaces regularly become available for visitors and patrons of the downtown. Paid parking is enforced through the use of street meters and parking lot kiosks Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Parking throughout town is free after 9 p.m. on weekdays and all day Sunday.
 
 Some permit parking spaces are restricted to permit holders, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the following lots:

  • Gold Street
  • Union Street
  • White Street
  • Eastside
After 2 p.m. these permit spaces become metered parking open to the public. 

All meters and kiosks accept coins, credit cards and mobile app payments. It is illegal to put anything other than these coins in a meter, or to tamper with a meter in anyway.

Malfunctioning Meters
Please stay with meter and immediately report malfunctioning meters to Borough Parking Utility at 732-345-8135. When calling, please indicate the meter ID number (e.g., BS19E) located under the glass dome behind the time display.

Parking Violations
Parking tickets can be paid at the Municipal Court Violations Department or they can be paid online.


Holiday Parking:

Holiday Parking is in effect during the holiday season! For 2025, the Borough of Red Bank is pleased to offer FREE all-day parking from December 11 through December 26. We encourage residents and visitors to take advantage of this free parking while you dine, shop, and enjoy everything Red Bank has to offer during the holidays.

Inclement Snow Weather & Parking:

Under § 680-3J of the Red Bank Municipal Code (Parking and Traffic), whenever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers the street, an emergency condition is deemed to exist and no vehicle may be parked on Borough streets between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m..

This parking prohibition remains in effect until after the snow has ceased and streets are sufficiently plowed and cleared such that parking will not interfere with traffic or emergency vehicles.

In case of Snow, all residents must move their cars are directed by the Borough and may use Municipal Lots until the parking restrictions are lifted.
