Wastewater Discharge Update

****Notice Update****
As of last night, at 11:50PM the sewer force main was clamped and repaired by the Borough's emergency Mechanical Contractor Mark Woszczcak, stopping any further discharge of sewage from the area. Mark's crew has worked in the Borough for 40 years and has been incredibly reliable.
Although this was not a Borough project, the Borough's resources and expertise were immediately deployed.
The NJDEP has advised that water sampling will take place on Monday, 7/15 with results expected on Tuesday, 7/16.

A partir de anoche a las 11:50 PM, la tubería principal de presión de aguas residuales fue sujetada y reparada por el Contratista Mecánico de Emergencia del Municipio, Mark Woszczcak, deteniendo cualquier descarga adicional de aguas residuales en el área. El equipo de Mark ha trabajado en el Municipio durante 40 años y ha sido increíblemente confiable.
Aunque este no fue un proyecto del Municipio, los recursos y la experiencia del Municipio se desplegaron de inmediato.
El NJDEP ha informado que el muestreo de agua se llevará a cabo el lunes 15 de julio y se esperan resultados para el martes 16 de julio.
