Services Hhndled by the Borough of Red Bank

Animal Licensing
The Borough of Red Bank requires that all cats and dogs over seven months of age be licensed. The Licensing Year runs from January 1 to December 31 and the cost to license is $15 if the animal has been spayed or neutered, $18 if it has not. A $5 late fee applies as of March 1. Proof of rabies vaccination good through the first 10 months of the licensing year is required at the time of registration. If the animal has been spayed or neutered, proof from a licensed veterinarian in required. Animals can be licensed in person at the Office of the Borough Clerk. Food Licensing
All establishments that have been approved by the Borough for serving food and inspected by the Monmouth County Regional Health Commission No. 1 must obtain a Food Handlers Permit from the Red Bank Borough Clerk's Office. The License Year runs from January 1 to December 31 and a 20% late fee applies as of April 1. Fees are based on size of establishment and/or seating. All food vendors at Special Events held within the Borough must also obtain a Special Event Food Handlers Permit. The fee for most Special Events is $100 per location per event. Please call 732-530-2755 for more information.
